Overview
InnerExec ("we", "us", or "our") operates the InnerExec mobile application, a career platform that connects job seekers, service providers, hiring companies, and mentors. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use InnerExec.

- Marketplace activity: job applications, service orders, payments, commission, and wallet/earnings history.
- Vault content: video and voice journal recordings you create using the camera and microphone, used for mirror coaching and self-practice features.
- AI feature inputs: resume text, prompts, and questions you submit to in-app AI tools (e.g. resume builder, cover letter writer, interview practice) to generate responses.
- Communications: messages sent through in-app networking, mentorship, or support features.

- You can allow or deny any permission, and change your choice at any time in your device settings.
3. How We Use Your Information

- To maintain the security, integrity, and reliability of the app, and to detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
- To improve our features based on aggregated, non-identifying usage trends.
4. How We Share Information
- We do not sell your personal information.
- Service providers: we use Firebase (Google) for authentication, database, storage, and push notifications, Cloudinary for media hosting, and OpenAI for AI-generated career content. These providers process data only to provide the relevant service to us.
- Other users: information you choose to make public (e.g. your profile, posted jobs/services, mentor listing) is visible to other users of the app as part of normal marketplace and networking functionality.
- Payment processors: subscription payments are processed by Apple through In-App Purchase; marketplace order payments are processed by our payment provider. We do not store your full payment card details.
- Legal requirements: we may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and property of InnerExec or our users.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account and content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal, accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes, or to enforce our Terms of Use.
6. Data Security & Breach Notification
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted data transmission and access controls provided by Firebase, to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, or loss. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected users and, where required, regulators, in accordance with applicable U.S. state and federal law.

8. California & Other U.S. State Privacy Rights
- We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes requiring an opt-out under the CCPA/CPRA.
- California residents have the right to know the categories of personal information we collect (identifiers, account credentials, commercial/transaction information, audio/visual recordings you create, and professional/employment information), to request deletion or correction of that information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
- Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of their personal information, and to appeal a denied request.
- To exercise any of these rights, email us at DrD@innerexec.com with the subject "Privacy Request." We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.
- California residents may also request, once per year, information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes under California Civil Code Section 1798.83 ("Shine the Light"). We do not currently make such disclosures.
9. Biometric & Recording Data
Vault video and voice journal recordings are created and stored at your direction for your own self-practice and, where you choose, AI-generated feedback. We do not use facial recognition, voiceprint analysis, or other biometric identification technology to identify or track you, and we do not extract biometric identifiers from your recordings. If this changes, we will update this Policy and obtain any consent required under applicable biometric privacy laws (such as the Illinois BIPA, Texas CUBI, or Washington biometric statutes) before doing so.
10. International Users & Data Transfers
InnerExec is operated from, and intended for use by, residents of the United States. If you access the app from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction. By using the app, you consent to this transfer.
11. Third-Party Links
The app may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies separately.
12. Children's Privacy
InnerExec is not directed at children, and no one under 16 years old may use the app or create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in violation of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), or from anyone under 16.
